Dickenson & Associates LLC brings over 200 combined years and five generations of insurance expertise to help business owners, families, and individuals in making important insurance decisions. Our comprehensive approach, wide range of financial knowledge and personal touch help to educate and implement the right solutions.

PARTNERS

Amy joined Dickenson & Associates in 1990 after attending the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has been specializing in insurance planning for individuals, small to medium businesses, medical institutions, and their key people for more than three decades.

Amy has dedicated herself to the physician marketplace, designing unique programs to assist physicians in protecting their livelihood through customized Life and Disability Insurance products and protecting their assets through Long Term Care Insurance. Amy continues to provide an exceptional level of service reaching all her clients wherever their career paths may lead.

The outdoors has always been a passion with skiing at the top of her list. Cooking, traveling, music concerts and yoga also come in high on her list as well but not in that order.

Amy and her husband Pep love to help their community and support local organizations such as Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland, Flashes of Hope, Medwish, University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic.

Since graduating from The University of Virginia in 1993, David S. Dickenson III has been a broker and consultant for Life, Disability and Long-Term Care Insurance, as well as Executive and Employee Voluntary Benefit Programs. An expert in his field for decades, clients, advisors, and colleagues partner with David to analyze existing insurance and to secure appropriate benefits.

David currently serves as the Chairman of Cleveland Clinic Children’s Council from 2019 to 2022. In addition, David will be the Chairman of the Gift Planning Advisory Committee at the Cleveland Museum of Art from 2020 to 2022.

Since 1999, David and his entire family have been active in support of Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. His family finds their involvement in local children's health systems to be very rewarding.

David and his family enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and exercise, including yoga, golf, swimming in the ocean, and traveling.

After graduating from the University of Virginia, in 1962, David S. Dickenson II began his career in Cleveland, Ohio selling Life Insurance to individuals, business owners and corporations. For more than 5 decades, David has been addressing his clients’ needs through quality advice, extensive knowledge, and exceptional client service.

David specializes in customized solutions for Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care Insurance. Having two children in the business, Amy and David III, assures continuity for the future of Dickenson & Associates, LLC.

David is a 5-time national tennis champion and proud member of the Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame, and an avid golfer. He enjoys working in the yard, fishing, and spending time with his wife, children and 10 grandchildren.

David and his wife Frances provide significant philanthropic support to many organizations throughout Northeastern Ohio; Vocational Guidance Services, Two Foundation, University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic while being an acting Board Member for Cole Eye Institute.


SUPPORT STAFF

Vikki’s been with Dickenson & Associates LLC for 40 plus years. She started as an administrative assistant and then moved into an office Manager’s position. She now works directly with clients, specializing in Life Insurance and Long-Term Care Insurance for individuals and corporate markets. With years of expertise as an insurance executive, Vikki brings an extensive wealth of knowledge as an underwriting expert in the large case market. She has developed relationships with insurance companies and clients being able to provide them with outstanding products and services. Vikki works directly handling concerns of clients in facilitating strategic long-term planning. Vikki has important duties in our organization such as but not limited to leadership, firm culture, mentoring associates, and much more.

Vikki loves traveling with her husband. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and their 11 grandchildren. She has been known to make blankets and donate them to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospitals, work community meals and provide homemade pastries for the desserts.

Barb has college degrees in Business, Accounting, and Executive Administration Management. She joined our team to lead us with many years of experience in the office management and Human Resource positions. Barb assists in the development and implementation of the company policies and procedures. Barb identifies opportunities for process and office management improvements, design, and implementation of new systems and processes. She also manages and oversees the administration of HR policies, programs, and practices. She is extremely talented at multi-tasking to keep our office functioning efficiently.

Barb enjoys sharing time with her 5 grandchildren. She takes pleasure in being outside in the warm, sunshining weather. Barb is a cat lover, where lucky Banjo was adopted from the APL and Mia is a rescued a stray.

After graduating from Bowling Green State University in 2013, Chase joined the Dickenson & Associate’s team. As a licensed agent, Chase specializes in life, disability, and long-term care insurance. Chase prides himself on excellent client service to secure appropriate levels of insurance coverage for individuals and business owners. Analyzing the client’s needs allows him to work with each of them individually to determine the best product or service to reach their current and future financial goals.

Chase is an avid Cleveland sports fan and tries to attend as many Indians, Browns, and Cavs games as possible. In his free time, Chase enjoys fishing, playing golf, and staying active.

Jim is an expert insurance professional with over 30 years’ experience. Jim brings a high level of expertise to his clients and works diligently with them to find a plan that meets all of their concerns. Jim’s specialty lies in developing and designing advanced presentations and support for estate planning, executive benefits, corporate succession, and opportunities in the ultra-affluent market space. In addition, he has 13 years as a Marketing Account Manager in the Life Settlement market.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys hiking in the beautiful trails in NE Ohio parks. He enjoys spending time in the Ohio Amish country. His musical talents include playing guitar. And most of all, spending time with his beautiful grandchildren.

Debbie has an extensive responsibility in keeping our multi-state licenses in an approved status for our partners and insurance consultants. With her vast knowledge, she coordinates the scheduling of all carrier appointments and ensures the partners and insurance consultants are compliant. She provides administrative support expertise to all members of the team which includes obtaining important information for applications. She also coordinates and organizes luncheons for special events.

Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband as well as her two children and her grandchild . Debbie likes her summer hideaway and cheering on the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers teams.

Leatha is a licensed Life & Health Agent since 1995 and has almost three decades of insurance industry experience. She manages our life insurance and long-term care insurance processes for individuals, business owners, family offices as well as a detailed billing project for large hospital affiliations. Leatha is very observant and generates leads for the agents to pursue when a policy needs to be reviewed. This is a result of her agent-training and experience. Leatha provides great customer service which includes day-to-day communication with clients updating them on application status, providing them with policy information, completing applications for coverage and requesting medical information.

Leatha has volunteered her time with Veteran’s Affairs. She also enjoys church, sports, movies, spending time with family, and traveling out of state to roller skating parties.

Nicole is an experienced client support specialist in the insurance industry since 1996. Nicole specializes in disability, life and long term care insurance. Her passion for helping clients is the reason she loves this industry. Nicole’s commitment to building positive relationships with clients is the foundation of her work ethic.

Nicole enjoys spending time with her family watching scary movies and relaxing in her pool throughout the summer months. She can also be found on her couch reading a romance novel or two. She is very passionate about animals and is the fur mom to four American Bully’s!

Emily joined Dickenson and Associates in November of 2023 as a New Business and Client Support Professional. Emily supports clients, advisors, and our team members through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. With vast experience in administration, she has been a fabulous addition.

Providing client support is a priority for Emily. Emily served in the Air Force Reserves as a Client Support Staff member in the Medical Clinic for 10 years and has experience in healthcare administration.

In her free time, she likes to spend a variety of quality time with her husband and two sons. Camping is a fun activity they enjoy doing during the warm weather!
